Photo Friday: Ireland's Diversions

As I drove through the Irish countryside, I had a hard time not stopping at every ruined church and abbey I saw.  One of the nice things about driving is that I could indulge in all of the out-of-the-way diversions I wanted.  Here are some highlights from my treks off the beaten path...

Clare Abbey

St. Patrick's Church on Inchagoill Island

Augustian Church on Inchagoill Island

Cong Abbey

Ross Abbey
Ballintubber Abbey
 The Round Tower at Turlough

Boyle Abbey

Thanks for joining me!  Happy Friday!

Great pictures. I really like the picture that has 3 shadow show up. Amazing!

I love the architectural details and the shots where you use the doorways and other "frames" within the frame to center your subject.
