Photo Friday: This Land is Your Land

I was feeling a little sentimental the other day, and this song kept running through my head... so here's a little homage to the United States of America -- the land I call "home."
This Land is Your Land
words and music by Woody Guthrie
This land is your land, this land is my land
From California, to the New York Island
From the redwood forest, to the gulf stream waters
This land was made for you and me.
As I was walking a ribbon of highway
I saw above me an endless skyway
I saw below me a golden valley
This land was made for you and me
Happy Photo Friday!

Loved this! When I am in Santa Cruz this summer, I'll be sure to take a picture of the redwood forests for you. :).

I love America. It has so much diversity, so much beauty! I traveled cross country twice and still have soooooooo much to see and I also remember, especially after the Rockies, that every turn was a huge oooooooohhhhhhh-aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh type of situation. Just so much beauty!

So, was your "gulf stream waters" done on your trip last year to the Gulf Coast? Technically, the gulf stream waters are in the Atlantic, though, aren't they?
